Sensitivity VS Insensitivity: Agot Isidro and Jinkee Pacquiao Trend After a Post about Luxury Stuff
Jinkee Pacquiao and Agot Isidro trended to Philippine Twitter for an Instagram bicycle message. Six days ago Jinkee took to Instagram to give a glimpse of her trendy luxury bicycles to her fans. “His and Hers,” Jinkee wrote in her picture caption of her Hermes and Louis Vuitton wheel, respectively in pastel pink and cream colours.
Its not just a simple bicycle. Jinkee’s pastel-colored Hermes bicycle had a sticker saying Hermès Faubourg Saint-Honoré’s. Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is a street in Paris , France with headquarters for French luxury company.
Hermes has introduced two ultra-light carbon fiber bicycles, named “Le Flâneur d’Hermès” and “Le Flâneur sportif d’Hermès,” which cost $10,750 or P531,000.
There is no news on Louis Vuitton selling bikes, PEP said, but in 2016 the Italian bike company Pinarello was sold to L Catterton, a business that is partly controlled by the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) group. It added that a BMX bike with the famous LV monogram had been upholstered by Pro BMX racer Nigel Sylvester. Sylvester collaborated for the art project entitled “218 CAPUCINE” with upholsterer and Rickard Guy’s artist Daniel McRorie, which was exchanged for $18,000 or about P890,000.
In view of this, Agot pick up with the statement that Mrs. Pacquiao is being insensitive in posdting her luxurious stuff during the time of pandemic where people are having a hard time to get a job.
People started sharing their opinions about the issue. Some of them are telling that Agot Isidro might be showing a sign of sensitivity through jealousy and defending jinkee’s post as a simple expression of being grateful of what she has and sharing it on social media.
While others agreed to Isidro’s point of view. Meanwhile, Socialite Jinkee Pacquiao holds it casual after actress Agot Isidro replied with luxurious “his and her” bicycles from Louis Vuitton and Hermès in her social media message.
Instead of responding directly to the actress after her remarks asking the Pacquiaos for sensitivity, Jinkee merely posted an excerpt from a book — The New Living Translation of Matthew 7:1–6 (Do Not Judge Others).
Although the Pacquiao matriarch made no mention of any names, its social media followers suspected that this was being directed to Agot in view of the timing.
